Miranda Richardson, nata il 3 marzo 1958, è un’attrice inglese che lavora a teatro, cinema e TV. È diventata famosa interpretando Ruth Ellis in Dance with a Stranger (1985) e ha ottenuto nomination agli Oscar per Damage (1992) e Tom & Viv (1994). Ha vinto un BAFTA come Attrice Non Protagonista per Damage e Golden Globe per Enchanted April (1992) e il film TV Fatherland (1994).

Ha iniziato sul palcoscenico, ha raggiunto il West End con Moving (1980) e ha ottenuto una nomination agli Olivier per A Lie of the Mind (1987). In TV è famosa per Blackadder (1986–89), A Dance to the Music of Time (1997), Merlin (1998), The Lost Prince (2003) e la sitcom The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle (2007).
