Incontra Shohreh Aghdashloo, l’attrice vincitrice di un Emmy Award che ha recitato in numerosi film e serie TV, come House of Sand and Fog del 2003. È la voce del Drago nel film Damsel e recita da quando aveva 18 anni, con il suo primo ruolo cinematografico in Gozāresh.
Ha anche doppiato l’Ammiraglio Shala’Raan vas Tonbay nei videogiochi Mass Effect 2 e Mass Effect 3. Con oltre 80 crediti come attrice, è stata molto attiva durante tutta la sua carriera. Si è sposata con Houshang Touzie nel 1987 e ha una figlia di nome Tara. Ha recitato insieme a Ben Kingsley nel film drammatico House of Sand and Fog, tratto da un romanzo di Andre Dubus III.
